Virginia Curl Gala

This was such a fun event.  It was held in Reston, VA at Salon Nordine, (one of the top salons in the area) by Nicole Siri.  She is a curly hair specialist and wonderful person, I might add.  It was an educational seminar on "How to help your curls" basically how to style your curly hair. Great ideas for Prom, Graduation, Marriages or everyday change from the norm.... June Give Away

Its that time again, and to honor fathers I want to give away some really cool hip new scrap booking products.  This line ROCKS.  It is more my style of scrap booking that is for sure... check it out www.glitzitnow.com . I am an old school scrap booker, who really used scraps LOL... but I love embelishments so this is my kind of thing... love details!  However, like to only spend so much time on it, hence hybrid scrap booking I think that is what they call it, to me it basically cuts time in half and you still get a cool customized look.....  What better way to celebrate that special man by creating a fun page, or card for them.  I will include some of the cool products I recently shot for them.

The month of June is a Special Month... I love my father dearly... we were best friends growing up, he was always there to make me LAUGH, wipe away my tears, give me a hug or shoulder to cry on.... my first driving stick shift experience, my first boyfriend, my first break up, my marriage, my first baby, so many firsts with him, and I miss him sooo much... so I just wanted to dedicate this month to him... and share some of my favorite pictures of fathers and kids...
